wik.jp Persistent Identifier Policy (v1.1, 2026-07) 1. Purpose. wik.jp provides permanent, resolvable URIs for Japan-related Linked Open Data vocabularies and datasets. 2. Stability. Once minted, a URI under wik.jp is never reassigned to a different concept. Deprecated concepts remain resolvable and are marked with owl:deprecated / skos:historyNote rather than removed. 3. Independence. The domain is held by an individual maintainer, independently of any single company. Vocabulary publishers (e.g. Terra-International OÜ) may change, merge, or transfer their assets without affecting URI resolution. 4. Continuity. The domain is on multi-year auto-renewal. All redirect rules are maintained in a public Git repository and deployed via CI, so the service can be reconstructed from public sources by a successor. 5. Succession. In the event the maintainer can no longer operate the service, stewardship is offered first to the vocabulary publishers, then to the Japanese LOD community (e.g. LOD Challenge Japan community), with DNS transfer. 6. Contact. See https://wik.jp/ for current contact details.
